Enrich your mind and spirit—visit the monastery library!

May 2008

For many of us, May signals the start of our outdoor activities—mowing, raking, gardening and get-togethers.

May brings many activities to the monastery as well, including the annual spring Community Workday.  This event is a fun and fulfilling experience for volunteers of all ages and physical abilities who’d like to help the sisters with their environmental restoration projects.

The monastery library has recently added the following books to its collection:

Morwood, Michael.  From Sand to Solid Ground.  New York, NY: Crossroad Publishing Company, 2007.

These titles and many more await your discovery!

Is there a book you’ve recently discovered, loved and would like to recommend? Tell me about it through an email to nsandleback@benedictinewomen.org.
