HOLY WISDOM MONASTERY
LIBRARY USE

Holy Wisdom Monastery library exists for the use of the monastic community. Holy Wisdom Monastery staff and guests are invited to use the monastic library under the conditions given below:

1. Guests of the monastery may use library materials in the library, fireplace lounge, or adjoining courtyard. They may also check out books to their rooms at any time during their retreat using the library card system. Books are not to leave Holy Wisdom Monastery grounds.

2. Members of the monastic community and staff may check out books using the library card system and borrow for up to four weeks.

3. Any special requests may be referred to the collections manager (ext. 105) or the director of monastery administration (ext. 141).

4. Reference materials and periodicals are not to be removed from the library except for photocopying purposes using the monastery copy machine (10 cents/page).

5. Use of the library outside office hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) by guests not on a personal retreat or scheduled program at the monastery may be arranged through the collections manager (ext. 105) or the director of monastery administration (ext. 141).
