All are welcome to join in caring for the land at Holy Wisdom Monastery. Previous volunteer efforts have helped to restore over 95 acres of prairie and wetlands that is now preserved for all to enjoy. Become part of the tradition and enjoy some time outdoors. Volunteers are needed to help haul brush, remove invasive plants and maintain walking trails.

Early birds are also invited for a bird-watching hike before the workday begins. Join Mike McDowell of Eagle Optics on a tour through the various habitats of Holy Wisdom Monastery. Birders in previous years have spotted over 40 unique species.

Registration requested by April 22, 2008.

In the interest of environmental stewardship, we encourage you to bring your own water bottle (we'll provide drinking water for refills).
