The community prays and works together in the monastery. Guests join
us here for prayer, meals, retreats and other spiritual resources. Designed
for individual use, the monastery contains an outdoor garden, the oratory,
dining room, Adoration Chapel, baptismal font, library, offices and common
rooms.
It is a quiet place where the monastery bells call us to prayer. The
interior includes icons reminding us of God's presence. |

Enliven your meal with table conversation with members of the community and monastery guests from around the world.
Lunch is served from noon until 12:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and dinner is served from 5:15-5:45 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
Monastery meal rates are as follows: the continental breakfast
is complimentary; lunch is $8.50 and dinner is $10.00. |
Several times each day our community, guests and co-workers gather here for Liturgy of the Hours and Centering Prayer. On feast days we assemble for the Eucharist. The oratory supports our liturgical celebrations and is conducive to personal prayer. Check prayer times.
Furnishings include simple seating, the ambo where the Scriptures are read, a small organ and the Adoration Chapel, a meditation room adjoining the oratory.

The icon of Christ in Glory and
the statue of Our Lady of Einsiedeln are simple adornments. At the entry
of the oratory stands the baptismal font. |

The library specializes in theology and religion. It offers an ecumenical
collection of books and periodicals consistent with Western
monastic interests and values. The 4,000-volume library carries titles on monasticism, ecumenism, Scripture
and preaching, spirituality, Christian churches and world religions, liturgy
and women's religious studies.
The library serves the monastic community and our guests. Many clergy
find it a valuable resource for preparing their sermons. Read our library guidelines or contact Nancy Sandleback at nsandleback@benedictinewomen.org.
